Talent Management

01 / TALENT MANAGEMENT

We work
with people,
not inventory.

REPRESENTATION
BOOKINGS
DEVELOPMENT
We manage, support and create opportunities around artists we work with directly— helping connect their practice to the right events, commissions and collaborators.
02 / OUR ROLE

Management should
protect the artist,
not flatten them.

Our role is to understand the artist's practice, ambitions and boundaries, then help build the right working opportunities around them—from bookings and commissions to new collaborations and longer-term development.

We work across musicians, live acts, performance artists, choreographers, sound designers and multidisciplinary practitioners, with space for both commercial opportunities and more experimental work.

03 / MANAGEMENT

What sits behind the booking.

01

Representation

We present the artist clearly, protect the integrity of their practice and help clients understand what they are actually booking.

POSITION / PRACTICE
02

Bookings

We handle enquiries, availability, scope, fee conversations and the practical relationship between artist and client.

BRIEF / FEE / DELIVERY
03

Development

We look for repeat work, better-fit commissions and opportunities that help an artist grow rather than simply fill a date in the diary.

GROWTH / LONGEVITY
04

Creative Collaboration

We can develop new work with the artist, restage existing acts or bring them into wider creative direction, set, performance and event concepts.

COMMISSION / ADAPT
05

Production Support

Where useful, we help connect the artist's work to the production reality: timings, technical needs, rehearsal, staging and on-site delivery.

04 / ARTIST COMMUNITY
DIY ROOTS / LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS

We came from
underground rooms.

01 / ROOTS

Built from DIY culture.

Abraxas began through self-produced, underground work and a desire to create space for artists who were not being given enough of it.

02 / COMMUNITY

Nurture the people around the work.

We want the network to become stronger through repeated collaboration, introductions and opportunities—not simply transactional bookings.

03 / WORK

Create actual workplaces.

Representation matters, but paid opportunities matter too. The aim is to connect visibility with real work wherever possible.

05 / FAIR PAY

The artist fee
is part of the work.

Fair Compensation

We advocate for artists to be fairly paid for their time, practice, preparation and delivery.

Clear Scope

We want expectations to be understood before the work begins: performance length, rehearsals, usage, travel, technical needs and any adaptation.

Respect the Practice

We do not treat an artist as decoration added at the end of a project. Their work should have a clear role in the experience.

Longer Relationships

Where a collaboration works, we want to create the possibility of repeat commissions and deeper development rather than a one-off extraction.

06 / BOOKINGS + COMMISSIONS

Choose the work. Or make something new.

01 / EXISTING ACT

Book what already exists.

We can place an existing live set, performance or act into the right event, venue or programme and manage the practical relationship around it.

02 / RESTAGE

Reintroduce it in a new room.

Existing work can be adapted, re-scaled or re-choreographed to respond to a different space while protecting the artist's original identity.

03 / COMMISSION

Build something around the brief.

We can develop something bespoke with the artist—from a short intervention to a new performance, sound work or multidisciplinary collaboration.

04 / INTEGRATE

Make the artist part of the world.

The artist can work inside the wider creative direction, choreography, installation, AV and audience journey instead of appearing as a separate add-on.

08 / ARTIST RELATIONSHIP

Management is the space between opportunity and practice.

CLIENT

A clearer booking.

We help the client understand the artist, the scope, the production needs and what makes the collaboration worth doing.

BRIEF / CONTEXT / DELIVERY
ARTIST

A protected practice.

We help protect fee, time, boundaries and creative integrity while making the opportunity practical.

FEE / TIME / INTEGRITY
ABRAXAS

A relationship that makes sense.

We hold the translation between both sides so the collaboration can move without reducing the artist to a line item.
