Creative Direction

01 / Creative Direction

We give
an idea
a world.

Concept Development
Visual Language
Worldbuilding
Creative Direction is where the world begins. We define the central idea, the visual and sensory language, and the rules that hold every part of the experience together.
02 / POSITION

Before the build,
there is a point
of view.

We develop the creative logic behind an experience: what it should provoke, how it should look, what it should sound like, and how the audience should move through it.

Creative Direction can be commissioned as a standalone service or become the conceptual foundation for full Abraxas Event Production.

03 / CREATIVE MAPPING
SIGNALS BEFORE THE BUILD

We read the room
before we build it.

MOVEMENT pace / gesture
BEHAVIOUR approach / pause
EXPERIENCE curiosity / proximity
MATERIAL texture / friction
SYMBOL recognition / ritual
ATMOSPHERE density / tension
OBSERVE / EXTRACT / TRANSLATE

What we shape

The objective is not a moodboard. It is a coherent creative system that gives the entire project a recognisable point of view.

01
Concept
The central proposition: the tension, story, question or cultural idea that gives the project its reason to exist.
02
Visual Language
Image references, typography, colour, texture, material and composition brought into one recognisable system.
03
Sensory Direction
How the idea behaves through light, sound, movement, spatial rhythm, taste and human interaction.
04
Creative Translation
We turn the idea into an actionable direction for design, production, programming, hospitality, content and collaborators.

The provocation

The brief asked for an experience people could understand immediately. We chose the opposite: a world that revealed itself in fragments, allowing curiosity to become part of the guest journey.

06 / DIRECTION NOTES
01

The room should feel composed before anyone enters it.

LIGHT

Low, directional, selective. Let the audience discover detail.

MOVEMENT

Never announce the performance. Let it appear inside the world.

MATERIAL

Use contrast: polished against raw, controlled against unstable.

07 / PROCESS

From instinct
to direction.

01

Read

Understand the brief, audience, context and cultural tension around the project.

02

Distil

Reduce the project to one central creative proposition that can guide every decision.

03

Build

Develop the visual, spatial and sensory language around the idea.

04

Direct

Guide designers, producers, artists and collaborators so the world remains coherent.

Direction is
what makes
every decision
belong.
