UH Fashion Show
Metamorphosis
A one-off multidisciplinary showcase created for University of Hertfordshire Fashion Design graduates. This special collaboration reimagined the traditional catwalk by amplifying each designer’s concept through movement, theatricality and embodied expression.
Working alongside choreographer Xristina, the collections came to life beyond fashion alone, while immersive 3D visuals by Morchen Liu created a striking dialogue between garment, body and space, transforming the runway into a living performance.
Deya
A return to Georgia through architecture, memory and overlooked detail. Drawing on the staircases and weathered surfaces of the city, Deya reframed the familiar through washed blacks and muted beige, building a collection where nostalgia and restraint sharpened the beauty of what might otherwise pass unnoticed.
Sophie Kostina
Sophie Kostina’s collection explored the space between two cultural identities: Russia and the UK. Rather than resolving the tension, the work treated balance itself as the subject, allowing references, attitudes and visual codes from both places to coexist within a single language.
Sharon Lai Wei Wen
Echoes of Love emerged from the loss of three loved ones in close succession. The collection moved through grief, acceptance and hope with quiet precision, using soft silhouettes, muted tones and intimate detail to reflect on the ways life and death remain interconnected. More than a study of mourning, it became a tribute to love’s endurance and the resilience found in carrying memory forward.
